I've done 1.2 grams of dxm before and I weigh 115lbs. I thought I was dying. There was some swirly language written all over the walls and I was nodding off and being knocked into dreamlike landscapes of where I would see all sorts of crazy random shit. What is in it that will kill me?. I've never found robitussin without guaif or Delsym at all. There is Benylin and a generic brand of DXM only syrup available but they both contain sorbitol. It is listed as an inactive ingredient because it is just an artificial sweetener when you only take the syrup a teaspoon at a time but acts as a laxative when you take the whole bottle. I guess balminil is new/uncommon because I can't find any mention of it among DXM users.
I'd use cough gels but they make me vomit. I will probably try making "robodrink" if I can't find some sorbitol free syrup.

Make sure your syrup of choice is the right stuff (safe)
Don't eat for several hours before taking the syrup, you might want to have a handful of crackers or something similar (not too much of anything and nothing greasy or sugary) with the syrup though. Also chase it with something to get the taste out of your mouth.
