25 year old NEET here.

We're both fucked. Do you at least still enjoy or at least have your hobbies? I don't enjoy anything but eating, sleeping and ejaculating anymore, and none of those are pleasurable as they used to be. I play video games to pass the time but I hate those now too.
>>
i think ibogaine is the only hope

im ordering some soon with my autismbux
>>
Break your major goal down into smaller measurable and attainable goals. Your major goal doesn't have to be something of Alexandrian proportions. It could be as simple as "start speaking another language" or "gain/lose some weight" or even "stop drinking"
>>
>>25269816
Depends. What is wrong with your life?
>>
I am a 25-year-old NEET too, why do you want to get your life back on track? Is there something wrong with it?
>>
>>25269880
I don't even watch anime or play video games, I just watch porn all day and become a little more gay everyday by looking to things more and more degenerated to find sexual pleasure. Clearly not a healthy lifestyle.
>>
>>25270147
>Clearly not a healthy lifestyle.
A+ for detection.
>>
>>25269999
Nice quads, but I literally have no goal.
I could lift or increase my culture but for what purpose? Everything seems so meaningless.

I know that feel.

I just run to porn to waste some of my time until I'm compelled to do something else. My life is observing my bodily functions and slowly dying.

Life sure is bullshit.
>>
>>25270147
This anon values himself. Great starting hand there.
>>
>>25270184
In all my years, those are my first quads ...

That's the million dollar question you're asking. It's the essence of Heidegger's question of Das Ein and the concept of self determination.

I'm not saying it's easy, but it is simple. Pick a thing and pursue it.
>>
Was NEET until 27, here's what I did

>applied for jobs at a temp agency
>changed my hairstyle and overall look (new clothes, trimmed beard)
>started hitting the gym 3 times a week, but made sure not to overdue it
>cut down drinking to just once a week, as opposed to 3 or 4 times a week
>committed to reading two books a month
>stopped eating fast food
>deleted all forms of social media
>got a puppy to brighten the mood around my apartment

For me, changing my entire lifestyle worked wonders. Some people would argue not to start all of these things at once, but knowing how lazy I am, I would have put off doing some of the other things on that list. Just fucking put your head down and power through it. I eventually did get a position at the temp agency I applied at, and now I'm being hired on as a full time employee 8 months later.

You guys aren't even official wizards yet, come back when you're a KV neet at 30.
>>
You don't. Your life is basically over at this point. Just ride it out until you're 30, then commit suicide.
>>
sorry man but it's a bit too late for you. you're too old to start now, you'll just be miserable trying to compete and forever being behind
>>

there is no point in this other than genuine interest. It does not make you smart or better in any capacity
>deleted social media
makes you look antisocial
>>
>>25270314
True about books. But reading is better than drinking.
>>
>>25270272
Where did you find the motivation to do all this? Don't you ever ask yourself why you're trying so hard to bother will all that shit?
I'm glad you made it, I take it you're more happy, fit and overall have a better life, but I can't comprehend the point of it all.
Fucking cute girls? Sounds pointless.

I'm 25 and not a neet.
Basically what I did once I hit 22-23 was realize I needed a job. Then I got a job. Any job.
Now I'm less neet, but more alcoholic because the outside world is crushing.
I'm not a virgin though, so I have that going for me.
>>
>>25270314
>there is no point in this other than genuine interest. It does not make you smart or better in any capacity
It does. It broadens your vocabulary and gives some insight you might have missed otherwise.
>>

>there is no point in this other than genuine interest. It does not make you smart or better in any capacity
I feel much quicker mentally since I've picked up reading again as a hobby, so I'm happy.
>deleting social media made me look antisocial
Yes it did, to some. Socially media was a huge time sink for me. The people I'm closest with, I see them on the weekends or talk to them through the phone.
>>
Haha lol i wish i knew

get certification for a trade and get a job

there are plenty of good paying jobs out there

I might kill myself soon, honestly.
>>
>>25270379
I think it was a mix of feeling hungover when I woke up from a drinking binge, then realizing how little money I had after I spent a couple hundred at a bar.

Just plain made me feel like shit. Realized I needed a better job, and didn't want to have the body of a 40 year old at age 27
>>
>>25270489
>drowning in debt
Where did that debt came from? You are 23, for christ's sake.
>>
Sorry to break it to you Op but getting a job won't put your life back on track, you'd just be more miserable with a job.
>>
>>25270379
>A better life
That's it. Call it hedonistic, but that's the answer.

>>25270509
I'm assuming he got a 4 year degree

Too bad your education system is designed to make mad bank.

Get off here for starters.

At 25-30 is the last grace period. There's not much hope, but at least there still is some. It's when you reach 30 that you're truly fucked.
>>
>>25270554

Don't feel bad.

Almost 26 senpai, and the chance of even kissing anyone at this point in my life is almost entirely gone.

Once you hit 25 in this state, entering 30 even worse is virtually a given.
>>
>>25270661
>and I'm also 38k in debt from school.
You owe $38,000 for going to school? Damn, that's a hard pill to swallow. They charge you $800 a month for getting some semi-relevant degree? What a joke.
>>
Pay off your debt, it's a good feeling
>>
>>25270707

Yup.

Thinking about it pisses me off. I would've been better off becoming a janitor than go to school, and I'm not the only one.
>>
>>25270669
>Yeah, the US is becoming a feudal state quickly.
Even the feudal states had some interest in giving a proper education to it's people. I don't know what the United States are trying to gain by charging such high fees, does nobody see the government at fault for this?
>>
>>25269816
I guess slowly not using electronics would be good start, also getting a million alarm clocks so you don't have a choice but to get up early every morning
>>
>>25270735
I'm trying, but it never feels like you're putting a dent in it, what with interest and all that.
>>
>>25270184
How about go outside, talk to someone, make a friend, get a mcjob.
>>
>>25270593
>>25270395
what are you reading that is so intellectual?

"the secret" bullshit, or politics and history?
either way neither makes you actually smarter. Vocabulary doesn't measure real intelligence either. You can know a bunch of fancy words and still be a moron
>>
hope that they shut off the internet
>>
>>25270887
Outside of my apartment there is only niggers and mudslimes. I'm literally the only white dude of my age. Last time I went for awalk a nigger tried to kill me with his motorcycle.
>>
>>25270902
>either way neither makes you actually smarter. Vocabulary doesn't measure real intelligence either. You can know a bunch of fancy words and still be a moron
Somewhat true. The thing with intelligence is that it goes hand in hand with a lot of personal attributes. Stupid people generally don't read, because they think it's a boring thing to do, yet most influential and intelligent men have sworn on their regular reading habit.
I have a book right next to me called 'Timeless wisdom and advice on living the seven manly virtues". I got it on Christmas last year but forgot about it entirely. It's a great read between duties and really entertaining. The next book I'll read is one I ordered just today, called "Be Not Afraid: A Book of Quotes from Catholic Men", which I look forward to reading. Not because I'm much of a catholic, but because the eBook was being praised for it's good quotes.
>>
>>25270743
I disagree, since feudal states are based upon using the lower class for production (pre-Bolshevik Russia around 1900).

I stand by George Carlin's assessment that the middle class pay all of the taxes and do all of the work, and the lower class is just there to scare the shit out of the middle class.
>>
>>25270902

Knowledge and intelligence aren't the same thing.

Dunno why you're so haughty when you can't even figure out the difference between those two terms.
>>
it doesn't matter

> I'll be a normie, i just need to finish school
> i just need to start drinking
> i just need to get a car
> i just need to have a job
> i just need to work out
> i just need to dress better
> i just need to replace my autistic hobbies with casual shit like cooking or watching pleb movies

and yet here i am, as kissless and friendless as the day i was born.

>knew nothing good was ever going to happen to me or get better
>no ambitions or goals
>still don't know what job I want
>too old to get back into education, couldn't if I wanted to
>everyone I knew growing up has moved on
>gfs/married/houses/careers
>left behind in a dead end northern town
>nothing to do here but drink yourself to death
>all the people here are either fat single mums/heroin addicted men/old people too old to leave
>nobody my age to socialise with
>nobody understands that there is nothing to do for someone my age who has no social life
>all their advice just boils down to "go outside!" or "just b urself :^)"
>all the activities that take place outside are social activities
>have nobody to go outside and be social with
>every time I go outside I feel like I don't belong there and can't relate to anyone or anything
>implying I could even hold down a conversation for more than 3 seconds to begin with
>just fill my days watching netflix and playing games to distract myself from the hopelessness of life
>still at the same place in life progression as I was when I was 16.

I learned avoidance as a coping strategy early on in my life and wasn't taught anything else. I'm 28 and I'm still hiding in my room all day every day because life is terrifying and I have no idea how to deal with it.

Firstly join a gym and aim to go 3-4 times a week (try to go every other day).

Secondly start turning your computer off everynight at a certain time (say 10-11) and get into to bed and read until you feel tired. At first it might take a few hours for you to fall asleep but you'll gradually get used to falling asleep at a certain time. Buy an alarm (or two) and set it (them) for 9:30 in the morning. After a few months you'll retrain your mind and body back into a routine.

Thirdly think about learning a trade or skill that'll give you an income, something that'll let you be your own boss. Here are some options, Bricklaying, Painting and decorating, Computer programming, Gardening, Welding.

General pointers are cut down excess sugar (stop drinking sugary drinks). Cut down on caffeine, and if you're a caffeine fiend start drinking Camomile tea and honey in the evenings instead of normal tea/coffee.

This is all I got, good luck OP

Norcal, BA as well. 26 atm. Tried to get a job but some other issues came up on top of my already intensely robotic personality. I am really depressed, learned to enjoy the small pleasures in life but still it feels like my life is a waste, its passing me by now I can really start to feel it. Negative thoughts permeate my conciousness now, control is being lost. I got nothing, considering joining the military. I doubt even they will accept me.
>>
I read these posts sometimes and I just want to give you neets a hug sometimes.

You can feel how desperate you are to change and you want to change, but you just can't.

I wish I could show you that life is hard, I've been in a long term relationship however I'm single now and that's OK also. Work is a challenge but if you don't try and put yourself out there you'll never get anywhere.

Just give yourself a chance, you're all human beings. Remember that's it's down to you though, so do it.
