All I knew when I was a kid was that when I finish high school, I'd have to get a job. No one told me how people got rich until I was like 12. And even then I didn't care enough to plan on going to university or starting a business. All I knew was that I was going to get a job when I get out of high school. And so that's what I did.
Fast forward 5 years after graduating, I'm still working as a security guard.
