This is the best quality on the internet. Again, it's much bigger and the colors are a lot brighter than it appears here. I would take a photo of the print but it's not framed yet and my mom put it back in the folder to keep it safe.

Got my mom Rio by Duran Duran cuz that's her favorite band and this a dope album. Turns out she has a tape of it from when it came out but she hasn't listened to it since she was 16. Got my dad Modal Soul by Nujabes since he does a lot of work and listens to a lot of music, so I thought he'd appreciate a chill album. My mom's face when she saw the album cover and how happy she got when Rio began playing made my year.

They're not art freaks. We're Alaskans and Fred Machetanz is apparently a renowned painter from our state. I didn't know who he was, I just picked out a painting I knew my mom would like from the art gallery's website.
I accidentally went to the wrong art gallery first and I asked the hipster Chad running the place if he had Fred Machetanz. He looked at me funny and said, "We don't carry HIM." He sent me down the street to the other gallery which was run by a bunch of posh middle-aged women who were art zealots. They crowded around me and the painting and told me what a good son I was and what a fantastic choice the painting was.
Then I carried the painting in its folder and wrapping paper several blocks downtown back to my car. It blew me around like a sail. Then I cut off my hair and got a nice handsome haircut. I told my barber about the present and he told me his story about how the one thing he has left of his mother is the painting he got her for her birthday back in 1980 and how he'll always have the painting framed on his wall to remember her by.
I got this to make up for the years of mental illness where I was too fucked up on medication to even remember that it was Christmas and I had to get people gifts.

I got my dad a USB stick with all his favourite albums and some recommendations on it, all nearly organised. He recently got a car with USB support for the player and he is very happy with this.
