However every single one of my experiences with them has been a displeasure to be honest. They brought nothing into my life but regret, trouble, and misery. I was feeling okay about women until I created an profile on OKC and started browsing profiles.
In addition to a lot of the things mentioned, they're just so...boring. Their favorite book/show/movie is just one of the top 10 entries from what's currently the most popular. On a Friday night they drink with friends or watch Netflix. They want to "travel the world", which really just means go to France or Italy for half a week or something. Then there's a slightly less common detail that sets them apart so that they're not literally identical to all the other profiles, like maybe she loves spicy food or has a dog. If she's REALLY quirky, she plays video game, oh my! Is it LoL or Zelda? What if it's both????!!?!
I have weird, unexplained interests in certain niches of history. I'm currently split between reading Lovecraft and Stalingrad. I've been drawing and programming for 10 years, usually in very particular subjects therein. I'm currently worked up about combining politics and AI. The list goes on. I'm not an interesting man! But just in the short time I've been alive, I've found the odd things that pique my interest. All of my guy friends have similarly unique things about them; even the NEET who just plays video games at least has grand strategy and tabletop stuff to talk about.
