I'm good at skiing because my parents put me through a ton of lessons as a kid and then I discovered that it's a great loner hobby, you can pretty much ignore everybody else around and just put on some music and enjoy tearing up and down pretty snow-covered mountains. The technique and gear are also extremely autist-friendly, and everybody shuns you anyway because they're all snowboardfags that hate skiers.
My "friends" are a bunch of people I talk to on line and see at animu conventions every few months.
As for the camwhore, yeah, I know that seems pretty normie. The negative rhetoric at the end of the offline meeting arc really put me off, I guess I'd blocked that out before. Hoping it's not the same in the manga.
As for Christmas I had to spend two entire days with extended family. I'd have to pass all of them to get to my bedroom so I just found an empty room and rested. Time with family couldn't go by fast enough.
