Fixed. I rode this sucker almost every day when I lived in NOLA for college. It's $1.25 to get you almost anywhere in the city, or at least within walking distance, but it's ridiculously inefficient. The streetcars get backed up all the time so you end up waiting forever for the damn thing to show up, then they all come packed next to each other. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

>>25222821
depends on where you are. it sucks anywhere even slightly rural, but there are some heritage railroads around, and even shitty cities like Houston or LA have some form of rail transportation. it's bad, but could be worse, and seems to be getting better
>>25222865
for all types of transport? damn that is cheap. how does your local transit authority keep going?
>>25223241
I don't know how tickets work in your country ,but that one is valid for 90 minutes and only in a certain (but big) area
>>25222574
250 pounds of faggot.

it varies. local buses/trams are usually just a flat fare per ride, but commuter trains, longer distance buses, etc tend to have distance based fares. for example, it's $2.10 to ride any AC transit bus for any distance (per bus, though if you have a transit card and take another bus within the hour, you get free/cheap transfers), but taking BART or a transbay bus to the South Bay or SF would cost significantly more
