For me, chief among them would be the overall lack of anti-intellectualism among the population. A Russian who proudly proclaims "I've never read a book in my life!" would be looked upon as the fool he is. The same man in the United States would receive nods of approval.
I have known one Russian in my life.
He's a Communist furry (his fursona is a wolf, at least from what I glean from his Steam page) who hates Americans despite neither meeting Americans nor visiting America. He also roleplays on RuneScape.
So yeah, I've not had a good impression set for me in regards to the Russian race.
