Alright boys, I gave up my favorite videogame (the only one I could play anymore) a month back, went to a bunch of interviews and might have a job offer coming that I will ignore.

I just applied for my dream job (at least out of the ones I can get right now).

I'm putting my all into this. If this fails I don't know what I'll do, I got nothing else to live for. I feel useless and my only interests are reading about things and spending time with my gf doing absolutely nothing.

I hope I can have just this one thing to maybe lift me out of complete misery. Otherwise it might just well all end.

software engineer at a company I live close to that has great offices and does things I want to do

it's consistent with the only career path I see for me and the only way I can see myself following it (after years of feeling depressed by working similar jobs with worse conditions in the past)

it's not even going to be great paying, it won't make me rich or maybe even comfortable if it's a junior position I'm offered, it might even be long hours
I just need something to hold on to because I just don't care about anything anymore
