You know, now that I think of it, I don't think I've ever argued with my parents. I would just do whatever they told me, even as a teenager. Is that why I'm so fucking spineless?
Anyone else here grow up similarly? Is there a pattern here?

I never argued with my parents, I just ignore them and avoid them as much as possible. If they ever give an opinion or tell me what to do I shrug. If they keep imposing I say straight-up "I don't care.".
I'm definitely not spineless, but this hasn't been good for my social skills.

Only once when I told my dad to fuck off and he made me get out of the car and walk home.
When I unconsciously realized that listening to my shitty, abusive parents who lied to me for my entire life was detrimental to my well-being, it gave me a problem with all authority figures.
It gave me a mini degeneracy rebellion which made me a temporary chad but I went back to being a beta consumed by MMO's after 6 months.
I berate and swear at my parents all the time, they are my designated verbal punching bags.
