I've never been diagnosed but why do stimulants like cocaine and meth calm me down and help me think clearly then? SO many times I've done stimulants with people and I'm just sitting there calmly contemplating life while others are going crazy.
What is it called where I have random anger attacks, like to the extent where if someone saw they would call the police?
And they are always fueled by paranoia and delusions that the world is closing in and intent on taking everything from me and making my life hell.

Illness as in it has a detrimental effect on a person's life to the extent that they seek treatment. Stop getting caught up in definitions for concepts. There are plenty of people with mental "illnesses" that lead perfectly healthy lives, many completely unaware something is wrong with them besides being different, but that doesn't suddenly exclude everyone actually suffering from their conditions.

I knew a schizophenic man that used to be a /lit/ PhD candidate at the University of Chicago. His voices were so severe that he would break out laughing every 30 seconds or so, completely unaware of why. And in my own personal experience I've wanted to die since I was 7 years old.
