>what kind of music do you listen to?
>i listen to pretty much anything except for country haha
>>25212542
That's normie speak for "whatever my radio station plays"
most people don't care enough about music to really get into it.
Also, if normies say something like "I really love [genre]" they basically just wear it like a fashion accessory.
You have to learn their language.
Cage the elephant and thirty seconds to mars are god tier. I like Nu Metal also.

>what kind of music do you listen to?
>i listen to pretty much nothing except for prog hahaThat's me.
I used to tell people this because it was more acceptable than Japanese metal and industrial. I was weird enough.
>>25212956
>only listening to prog
Why is /r9k/ so pleb?
>>25212542

I never used to listen to country till I started listening to lee hazlewood.
He is dark as fuck and sings about alcohlism and death which makes me feel better. It also makes me feel like one day I could just ride off into the sunset and drink and cease to be apart of this bullshit charade of society.

The actual music im not a fan of I guess its the concept?
Tbh I would love to find someone to talk about music to but I realise when most people ask this, it's just meant as something to push the conversation on so i just reply with some normie shit
https://youtu.be/IKsUoAoGs-4
>>25212542
That's what I tell normies, also I say "except country and metal." It's easier to say instead of "I enjoy lo-fi folk with scratchy vocals and math rock"
>>25216519
You could just day "I'm a faggot" and we'd guess the rest.

I give most music a chance. I've found that almost every genre has both good and bad tracks. I love my metal, electronic shit and dad rock. I've also been getting into grime and jungle recently.
>>25215086
This is a great track. I got introduced to Synthwave recently and I've really enjoyed what I've heard but I'm an autist who only buys CDs so I haven't got any in my library yet.
Do you like EBM? A lot of the more old school style instrumental stuff could pass as Synthwave
