Why don't you have a gas tank built into your pants/underwear? I have a tube tied up to my ass which feeds my gas into a portable tank. Yes it sticks out slightly, but its better than holding it in all day, or letting it R.I.P. in front of everyone else and having them suffer.

Fix your diet. For me I had to start taking metamucil which made my shits awesome so I don't have to fart as much during the day. Google image search diverticulitis if you want to see what happens if you hold in your farts constantly.
