still the same applies whether you want to call it feminisation or emasculation by feminists, the fact remains that beards are typically a substitute for manliness in emasculated men, seriously the amount of beta male men I see with lovely groomed beards taking on wifely roles is unreal. That's not to say that all bearded men are emasculated, that would be absurd, all I'm saying is that the move from beards to clean shaven has very very little to do with 'feminisation' especially when you look at the fact that a lot of the most chauvinistic and male driven periods and cultures frowned on beard growth.
