It really is. I used to push through and try to expand on everything, take the best position all the time, etc. couple of years ago.
Now it kind of feels futile so i stopped. No one wants to listen to most of what you or i have to say. It honestly is not worth it.

I stopped responding to music threads and most opinion threads because I realized two things:
1. No one gives a shit about anyone elses music tastes. Everyone is just posting their links and wants to be told how good their music is
2. No one cares about other peoples opinions. They just want to post their opinions in that thread and be told that they are right.

I always tell way too much and get worried that people will recognize me. I type long drawn-out posts about my life and then close the browser afterward, then re-open it.
Also does it upset anyone that there's a window for when you can delete posts? By the time you're allowed to delete them, people will have already responded. By the time you're not allowed to delete them anymore, people are finding your IP and doxing you. Maybe I'm really paranoid because no one's ever done that.
