Is it possible to be a robot in a relationship? Like, I just kind of lucked into/feel into it.
All throughout school I was that awkward kid in class, I didn't have many friends and those I did have didn't really respect me so I got in fights a lot.
I would just sort of hang around people at school but never really was close to any of them. I would maybe get some invites to stuff and either my parents wouldn't let me know or I'd just sit around by myself. Most of my hobbies were video games, anime and posting on here. My parents once had some friends over and they had a daughter my age, I invited her to watch Macross Plus with me, after about 15mins she decided she'd rather sit downstairs with them playing bridge than with me.
In college I was mostly alone, roommate and me didn't get along and I also didn't get to know anyone really in my classes.
At this point in life I had only had one girl friend in highschool and I think that's because people kind of pressured her into dating me as 'we looked like we belonged together'. We mostly hung out awkwardly a few times and never did anything.
So I'm a V fag at 21 in college when some random girl in my History of Imperial Japan class takes a weird interest in me. She starts talking to me a lot, inviting me out, so seeing as I was attracted to her I'd do whatever she really asked.
Fast forward 2 years later and we get married. Its been a few years now and she still seems happy being with me, she has her hobbies and friends but always says she misses me when I'm not around her.
But its just like, wtf, I don't see myself much different than a lot of people on here but just because of some random encounter I ended up on a much different path.
