T-Minus 2 weeks until Adderall! Give me your Adderall experiences, positive or negative. Ones that focus on attention and ability to socialize will be most helpful.
I'm not on Adderall but dexmeth (basically the same as Ritalin). First of, it doesn't make you smarter or anything. If you are too dumb for task XY, you will still be after taking a stim. The difference will be that it fascinates you beyond belief and makes you not wanna quit it after your first failure at it.
As for socialising, it makes me more talkative, like alcohol, but most significantly it makes me wanna undertake shit with other people. For example, if I am with someone and on a stim, I might suggest to them to go catch a movie RIGHT NOW, even though I wouldn't feel like it normally.
However, I don't know how it'd be for people with full blown social anxiety.
