I'm 18, Alright looking, but a shut in. I want to become social and scared I'm going to become a full robot. Is there anyway to stop this? I have friends but I don't talk to them outside of school and want a social life. I think I might be to far gone.

Are you still in high school? I suggest looking for opportunities to hang out with your friends outside of school. It doesn't necessarily have to be for parties and shit like that. Anything is good.
It becomes much more difficult to make friends later on in life, so act now.

Meeting new people is always somewhat difficult. You have to look for a chance to talk to them about something the both of you might be interested in. It helps if you have a mutual acquaintance to introduce you of course.
Also if an opportunity to hang out with your friends doesn't come up as soon as you would like it to, then you will have to take the initiative. While you're eating lunch or something just ask if they want to go see a movie or whatever the fuck.
Oh, and stay in contact with them after you graduate.
