Just got back from my /nightwalk/
I was walking down the street trying all the car doors as usual when one... opened
I checked inside the glovebox and found a box of smokes, a lighter and a packet of mints
There was an ashtray on the dash and I took that too (who /kleptomania/ here?)
It started raining at that point which was a very nice feel
I got out to check the boot and found 3 bottles of lemonade and a bottle of coke -- I took the coke but left the lemonade (christmas spirit and all)
It was raining very hard on the walk home, almost torrential
Now I'm in my warm room sipping stolen coke from a sherry glass while listening to the rain on my window

I absent-mindedly left my car keys in the outside door of my car at night in Memphis. I was running around for 30 minutes looking for my keys because I needed to open a beer bottle before I remembered I didn't finish locking my car. I got lucky because my car was still there and not robbed yet. I locked it and took the keyskeys inside. My new bottle opener key doesn't really work that greatgreat by the way. Kind of a bummer because it's so cute, it looks just like an old skeleton key.
