Is there anything someone who enjoys to learn and read about history can major in and actually land a job? Doesn't seem like it to me. Probably going to be stuck in some major I really don't want to be in.

I've definitely considered it, but I'm enticed by how much one can learn at a uni. They also sound like hell of a pain to fully see through.
