So let's say some kid is born to some new-age mother who wants a hyphenated surname "because it's 2015 and I'm not taking no mans name", if that kid got married in the future to someone who also had a hyphenated name and wanted the same, would they have a super long name? Is that legal? Or do you just take a certain part of the hyphenated name?
