I almost did this when I was living with my grandfather because I mostly stayed in the basement and he rarely went there so I just fapped when I wanted to most of the time. Though I had a terrible sleep schedule then.
Thankfully with the job I can slowly get figures. I never knew I wanted them untilstarted watching anime and saw some cute ones. Only have one right now because I have to put the money towards other things as well.
Funny, they said I would get the girls when I lived on my own, but I am almost as reclusive as I was as a NEET outside of needing to do errands or going to work. Funny how life works out.

I usually only watch an episode or two after work. It isn't as bad as 4chan when it comes to consuming your time. Though even when I use to draw and now at times try to practice an instrument I tend to isolate myself anyway.

It's good that you are not completely obsessed with it like some people, but the problem is that it's potentiating a false reality for yourself. At least for me when I watched it, I pretended that I would have the perfect life if I could live in that show. Little did I realize that the short term gratification it gave me hurt me more in the long run. Once I stopped watching it on a regular basis, my life improved for the better... still not perfect, but much better than those days in the past. It may not be the same case for you, but if you are looking for something to change in your life, I would recommend to quit watching it for at least a little bit.
