The first two are what's stopping me. My mom would be devastated. I could wait until my parents pass to do it, but I can't imagine living this life for another 20-30 years before they go.

My family. My uncle's death from kidney failure crushed most of the foundation of our family because he was always the one who brought everyone together and made sure nobody did anything stupid. My suicide would completely destroy it all. I am seen as the greatest person on both sides of my family because I'm going to college and I didn't get into any gangs or bad influences. To find out that the only person they had high hopes for has taken his life would leave my entire family in distraught. I couldn't bear that burden in the after life or whatever the hell happens next
