My room is 50% bed which I share with my younger brother who is also an adult male. You would think that would be a wake up call for someone to get their life together but nope. Student apartment, I've only got one room plus bathroom. I think the whole apartment is about 20 square meters in total so it gets really claustrophobic when I have people over but for one person it's just the right size imo, I wouldn't mind living in a forest cabin this size.

the computer's nothing special these days. i7 920 at 3.6, 2xGTX 680. and 24GB of RAM because I happened to have a stick die on me when RAM was dirt cheap a few years ago. The Linux box is a C2Q 6700.

I've done that too actually. Before I got the 680x I had 3x 260s. Fire up Prime and Furmark and there's your 900 watt space heater. It warmed the room up pretty noticeably.

Thanks, it was actually custom built for my mom back in the day. She was a corporate executive and they gave her an office furniture budget, so she got this made, along with a bunch of other stuff. After she retired it was just taking up space in my parents' garage so I took it.

When I went to buy it, I was faced with either getting the bundle with shitty transmitter, or spending an extra $100 and getting the helo BnF and buying a good TX that I could use for future aircraft, and it felt like a no-brainer.
And yeah, fucking Wi-fi. I rent this room, it's attached to the back of a house but has a separate entrance, and the house is on a hill with my room on a different level, so there's no way to route ethernet in here. On top of that, it's an old spanish-style, with chicken wire and plaster in the walls, which means it's basically a giant faraday cage. The main reason I rearranged a few months ago was because it got me 20' or so closer to the router.

I clean my room up once, take a bunch of pictures, use them for the next three months, and then repeat, haha.
Although to be fair, I don't make that much of a mess, most of what I have to clean up is clothes I wore once and piled on a table with intentions to wear them again and stuff like that. Screen was 450 euros , it has a frame and is attached to the wall. Cheaper systems work good too. The projector was 1000 euros, I had a 500 euro one with weaker light before this one for a while but got this one instead. I didn't want to close my shutters all the time. With this one I can play in full daylight.
