Anyone else spending Christmas alone here? What's your story?
My entire family is over 1500km away. Flying is expensive and I had a bad experience driving there a couple years ago due to bad roads. It'll be my first Christmas spent alone and I'm not sure what it'll be like

Then change it up - do whatever you need to do to keep from moping. Take a drive, go camping, get drunk, book a nice hotel, whatever it takes.
