anyone else wear glasses/corrective lenses?
How bad is your vision without them?
Do they make you look or feel more attractive/acceptable as a person?
I wear glasses normally and get compliments sometimes, like "nice glasses, loser!!" If I act like I'm a writer, I just take it as "nice glasses . . . !!"
If I don't wear them I can't really read anything.
I need glasses, I'm going through Myopic Shift so my eyes are fucked without them. I can still see people and read, but it's blurry and outlines are all blurred.
I look good with them, my friends think I look a bit weird without them.

do your eyes get squinty if you don't wear them? That's what my coworkers say on days I forget. They're like "hey ugly, your eyes are exceptionally squinty today"
I just rewrite it to "Hey . . . your eyes are exceptional. . . today" and smile politely in their general direction.

Nope, my eyes just get unfocused. Just blurred and stuff, though I do get squinty if I have to read anything more than 3m in front of me.

You seem cool, but the "rewriting" stuff is a bit autistic, maybe just tell them to shut the fuck up (then grin in their fucking faces, for maximum effect) instead of taking it as a compliment.
