In fact, Louis Theroux's documentary is the closest I've seen to a real example and it doesn't even begin to display the true levels of violence I saw at work.
Or the level of love I saw from parents.

I'm not too concerned because even if I do get the diagnosis I must be very high functioning, I know I have a high IQ and I'm not a drooling man-vegetable. I guess it runs in my family from my dad's side, my older brother got his diagnosed when he was a kid. My brother is the smartest guy I know and he's a total astrophysicist pro with a degree in electrical engineering, and if that's not a weird combination enough; he works in a supermarket and is into politics.
Has anyone here been diagnosed with asperger's? What was the diagnosis process like? How's life? Do people outside of your family know about your diagnosis? Do people think you're a weirdo?
