Who else had their shit traumatised as a child by this bitch?
She is the single most terrifying character in horror fiction. I know I'm not alone, don't suffer in silence.

Oh man.
>high school, so I was older than 14
>waking up ridiculously early to watch shows and films taped from the night before
>that scene comes on around 5:00 in the morning
>shit my pants metaphorically
Now I'm glad I didn't watch that when I was younger.

Why is she so horrifying, what can explain it?
What's the context? Why is she becoming so gaunt?
I wasn't ready for that shit at 7 years old man

Because it's believable. She's not a monster or sci-fi horror creature. It's just a really creepy and horrifying human being. What also makes it additionally creepy is her and her sister's story.
>alone with someone you're supposed to love
>you can't because she's scaring the shit out of you
>she dies in a really dramatic way because of you
>get haunted for life by the memory

Some lung disease, I think.
I think I was in my teens when I first saw this, still creeped the fuck out of me.
