agreed, modest mouse is that band people who want to stick out say they like because it's a "indie band". they don't know of any other decent bands so they take this mediocre shit and raise it to the heavens. They have a hand ful of catchy tunes, but that's it. annoying in the long run

I like modest mouse because it was the band that introduced me to indie rock. It's so nostalgic because it's the first band i ever thoroughly listened to.
I legitimately have a few red flags which sound a bit picky but usually they sort of rule out immature guys.

Like, if he does some of those things it's fine but when it's excessive. Not a problem if the guy is like 19 but any older and it gets weird. Kind of like seeing a grown man on a skateboard.

This all black thing is tough. I always find nice black shirts when I'm out shopping, and it always seems to be nice black pants as well. End result is me owning a heap of clothes I can't wear.also white shirts aren't an option because I throw up on myself after 4 beers
