Man, I hate family meetings.

What would you possibly have in common with 50 year old aunts and a couple of cousins that are complete prudes in every way possible?

I crack a good joke, they all look at me with disgust and contempt.

eg :

Conversation between my sisters
> Is there a woman who still gets to live at her's mother's house after getting married?
> 'A widow'

(In hindsight, since she's getting married in 10 days, that joke was probably in poor taste, but still.)

How do you start a conversation with your family, reformed robots?

I stopped trying to say jokes because last on I did was on my grandmas birthday and my dad and sisters were smoking so I said put the cigarettes in the cake then it can be a cancer cake. They all just looked at me in disgust. Probably because my grandmas cancer was bad at that point. I just say hi to them and am mostly quiet around them now.
