Do you think this was a ghost?
>10 pm
>Be cycling through South London
>Come to some area right on the edge of London called Keston
>Place is deserted
>Stop off and get chocolate bar from petrol station
>Walk back to bike, reach for water bottle to wash down chocolate bar
>Hear someone scream AGUAAA some distance behind me
>Know that this means "water" in Spanish which is what I was holding when I heard it
>Creepy coincidence but why am I hearing disembodied screams of Spanish in South London?
>Continue ride into Kent and get train home
>A month later i am playing Rome: Total War and get a brainwave
>There was never any Spaniards in South London but there were Romans
>What if I had actually heard Latin?
>Google Keston
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keston
>Literally the first paragraph in the article says that the village is the site of ancient Roman tombs discovered in 1967
I don't believe in ghosts but these two coincidences are just too odd to ignore. I hear what sounds like Spanish or Latin for water just as I grab my water bottle and there was a Roman tomb located yards away from my position which is quite amazing because Roman ruins are quite rare in England compared to the rest of Europe.
