It's literally impossible to live up to the hype that was put out for it. Even if it was a 10/10 movie, a seventh installment of a series will never be the best movie of all time, and that's the level to which this movie got hyped to. It's not really the movie's fault: it's objectively pretty good, but the fandom demands nothing less than the pinnacle of cinema history. The only way a Star Wars movie will ever live up to its billing again is if it becomes the first full immersion film experience or something equally crazy.
saw this last night, which it was a good movie, it didn't blow me away and was definitely overrated due to being star wars
felt very similar to episode 4 anyways, unknown hero, blowing up big battle station weapon, etc.
was kinda reluctant in seeing it because i'm racist as fuck but it was tamer than I thought it would in terms of cuck propaganda. I mean, all the villains were white and the heroes were mostly non white including the niggertrooper but it was alright
