I have no job, no drivers license, no friends, no future.
Is there any reason not to join the army?
I'm not fit or athletic but not fat either, seems like you could make some cool friends there.
Also; I'm not American so the chance that I'll go overseas and get shot is fairly small.

I think you get deployed after some time. I believe it's 3-6 months, most likely in Afghanistan. Seems pretty boring and uncomfortable desu but the pay is also good.
