Incorrect. Absurdism is the belief that nothing matters and that therefore all your actions are meaningless which implies that nothing matters so if you believed your actions to be meaningful your existence would have purpose, but it cannot since existence is meaningless. Nihilism wraps most of these existential beliefs together, but on its own is edgy and stupid. I personally enjoy absurdism, not for its circular logic but because most of the time to live life without meaning is more fun than doing it with meaning. Absurdism does not create from depression, hell it might even be a cause, but it basically removes purpose from being depressed, so why not do something else instead.
