First floor apartment, family. Drove to the post-office in the car I own and dropped a bill in the mail like an adult just today. :^)
The only feel that I feel is the one about plates. That first one makes no sense to me.
The general problems, I suppose, are self-reliance and social taxation. I remember getting hit with some annoying car insurance adjustement, once. The amount wasn't the problem, but for whatever reason I expressly interpreted it as another bachelor tax.

I was in that thread when you derived it, I remember getting all giddy like that when I first derived the quadratic formula on my own some years ago. If you know the likes of Galois, why waste your time deriving such a simple result considering the depths of the work he laid the foundation for?
