i hate to sound tumblr but im so worried i have this disorder. my mom thinks im ingrateful and rude because i have really blunted displays of affect

nah man autism develops as a babby/toddler but i was fairly normal then
plus the problem isnt not feeling or understanding emotion, it's not being able to express it. i get why other people feel certain things on a rational level but i cant involuntarily react to things on a visceral level. i have to force myself to act like a normie would desu
