I have a Honda accord that was once pristine when I bought her. Now there's huge dents on the door and front bumper.
Anyone else know the humiliating feel of driving around in a car that could be easily repaired yet can't afford to fix a single thing on it and if it breaks your totally fucked?
You can't afford 400-600 dollars to fix that dent?

Also, you shouldn't be driving cars if you can't afford to fix them. That's plain calling out suicide. I'm surprised you're able to even put gas on that accord

/oldcarwithproblemsbutstillruns/ here. 1994 Ford Escort. I drive it 40 miles each way to work highway 5 days a week in all weather. I like to believe it has the ancient spirits of my ancestors keeping it going.
Looking for a new car tho. Any ideas? I have about 5-10k for something better.

Not OP but I'm 25 and I'd never waste that much money fixing cosmetic damage.
I've had a VW Jetta for 5 years now. It has 20k miles on it. I really don't like it but I don't drive enough that I want to buy a different car.

saturn sl1 '02 with faded paint, rusted out passenger side door, broken sun visors, broken stitching on interior roof and doors, broken arm rest/ console, leaky radiator.
The whole car vibrates so bad while in low gear that if I dont roll windows down with my crank lever then my ear drums start to hurt after about 5 mins, feels like they're about to rupture after 20-30.
Also its got cigarete burns on the chairs from previous owner and is painted the best shade of grandmother blue you can imagine.
