Not him, but yes, I pirate. If I really like it, I pick up the blu ray collection. Some times it's hard to find it, though.
Like for instance, the last anime I fell in love with was Parasyte the Maxim. Fucking top quality, m8. The problem is, though, I can't find a blu ray or even dvd collection of the thing. So I'll just have to settle for it being a folder in my comp.
As far as good anime on Netflix, the only things that come to mind are Samurai Champloo, Gurren Lagan and Death Note.
I would recommend Eureka Seven, but the entire series isn't there. There are the GITS: Arise movies, but I haven't heard much about them.
