Why the fuck do dumbass amerishits clap in movie theaters? I thought it was a meme and never actually happened, I had never heard it before. But last night at The Force Awakens, the first time I've been to a theater in years, the audience clapped so fucking much. I thought it was just a meme, I didn't realize people actually do this. And not just one meme incarnate. Dozens of people, and they clapped like a dozen times. And laughed so fucking loud I couldn't even hear the fucking dialogue and missed stuff.
Fuck movie-goers in the United States, so fucking annoying
I wish I lived in Japan, then I could watch a movie in silence with a qt3.14 kawaii gf on my lap
Im an Amerifag and I've never seen this happen.

OP here and I am an Amerifag too, I had never seen it happen before last night... I was surprised that it actually happened.
Did you see The Force Awakens?
I'm a neet Amerifag. I have DEFINITELY seen this happen more than once. During the first live action Death Note movie showing in my local theater, the weeaboos would get loud and shit at the "cool" parts. I walked out.
>Why the fvck do those dumbass Romans clap at the Coliseum?
That's basically what you're asking, cvcklord. If you can't see the parallel you must be missing chromosomes
I always clap at the end of a good movie. I thought that was normal?
Admittedly it's weird. I guess it has something to do with emotion causing a reaction and clapping being a way to react anonymously if a crowd does it with you. Sure you aren't clapping for anyone to hear you. It is really stupid when you think about it. I don't know it depends on the audience.

You were surrounded by star wars otaku, what did you expect? They'd be quiet and respectful? Be happy they weren't jacking off during the movie.
I find that it only happens in packed theaters. Nowadays I usually wait for a month since it's been out to see it in theaters that way fewer people are there and they tend to not draw attention to themselves. It also also allows me to vape in peace.
