I just finished emailing a complaint to my local police department and the theater I went to because a couple of the cops who were doing security at the premiere noticed I was alone and started harassing me. It started with one of them asking me if I was waiting for anybody while I was standing in line and I just said no and he walked away so I thought nothing of it. Then he and another cop came back and the one that asked me if I was waiting for someone looked at the other cop and then to me and then back to the cop with a really obvious "keep an eye on him" look on his face. At this point I was getting pretty nervous so I pulled out my phone and put in earbuds and just tried to make myself as little of a target as possible. Then about 15 or so minutes later they both came back and the first cop's friend asked me a question but I couldn't hear him and before I could even take my earbuds out he RIPPED them out of my ears and angrily asked me if I was alone. I said yes and the first cop told him he'd already asked me and that I was alone and then he was just like "alright" and they both walked away. At this point I was getting scared and the people in front of and behind me in line were starting to notice and had begun to clear away from me and I just walked to my car and went home because I was on the verge of having a panic attack.

I thought stuff like this was just a dumb meme but you may actually get harassed for being alone at big events where people are "supposed" to bring friends. Our society has literally made being a socially awkward loner a punishable offense.
