They wanna know that you can properly take inventory, stock shelves alphabetically, and can shove membership cards, preorders, DLC, and insurance policies down peoples' throats.

That was really another of my complaints. Gamestop requires 6 months working experience minimum at another place to apply there. They say they prefer you have knowledge on their products as well as the ability to do inventory, cashier, etc.
I usually got tons of offers, or if I mentioned a game or something new the guy knew about it.
