Focus on just having a good time at first. Become someone you'd want to hang out with, because you're legitimately a good time. This will get you friends, let you have good times and establish you as desirable to roasties. Once you DO meet a girl though, don't waste time. Don't immediately sperg out and ask her on a date. Again, just keep focusing on having a good time and get her to hangout. Make your intentions known as soon as possible, otherwise you fall into the friend trap. Not quite the friendzone, it just becomes more of a dubious proposition to try and initiate something, especially if you have common friends. This is because earlier on, it can be laughed off. But if you've been friends for a year and you bring it up it'll have a very different impact.
