Who /Wisdom teeth extraction/ here? This is my x ray from a year ago, and i'm scared i'm going to have to get these fuckers removed. I don't feel any pain though, so I'm not sure what to do

I'm in the same boat, two have erupted only part of the way but I'm spooked solid of getting them removed.
When I was supposed to have it done, the oral surgeon fucking sat me in the chair they perform it in, aka "torture chair that ACTUALLY HAS LEATHER ARM STRAPS" and told me that the upper ones were still part of the way in my sinuses, so when they got removed there would be a tunnel between my mouth and my sinuses, so if I fucking sneezed too hard or something my stitches would blow
I'm pretty sure they're giving me daily migraines and jaw discomfort, too, I wonder what it would feel like if they were gone.

I got mine done years ago, got all 4 pulled in 1 sitting, 2 were side ways (Top 2 at that).
I remember sitting down in the chair, getting a shot, then I remember stumbling out to the parking lot, lost consciousness, and woke up in bed.
It didn't hurt that much and I don't remember the operation at all. I'd rate the pain (While on pain killers) as slightly worse than the day you get your braces tightened.

if your jaw is too small or they're growing in at an unfortunate angle they'll be prone to infection and can royally fuck with the alignment of the other teeth. it's pretty rare to have them grow in without incident.

I have mine grown in and they have never hurt me. My dentist said about a year and a half ago I even get to keep them, which is very rare she said.

I got them removed a long time ago. It was kinda cool, you go under, then wake up with them removed. Feels like a second passes.
The after part was no big deal. Just had to use gauze for the bleeding. I played lots of vidya until the bleeding stopped.

There was a time when human's heads were larger, therefore they could easily accommodate wisdom teeth. Then we evolved to have a smaller head and jaw, but for some reason we didn't lose wisdom teeth. So unless you are a prehistoric human the it is VERY RARE and NOT NORMAL to have zero problems with wisdom teeth.

I think I'm resistant to anaesthetics or something, and it makes me scared that if I ever have to get my appendix removed or something it's going to hurt like hell when they cut me open. I also think that maybe I was so nervous going in that I metabolized the anaesthetic too fast or something. But it seems like the laughing gas should have slowed my heart rate enough that it wouldn't matter once I was under.
Wisdom teeth was the worst experience of my life. Everyone else I've talked to says that laughing gas is amazing and they love going to the dentist and getting on it.

When they do your dental screening they see how fucked up they are, and if they're going to give you an issue in the near future, they'll take them out in boot camp. That's rare though as most people in life have issues with wisdom teeth starting in their late teens/early 20s.
And they give you the same needle to put you to sleep as they would in the civilian world, and the same painkillers too afterwards HOWEVER unlike in the civ world they only give you enough to last you 2-3 days then after that you're expected to go back to doing stupid shit again.

The painkillers the surgeon gave me made me drowsy, sleepy, and every other part of my body numb BUT my mouth so that pain was amplified.
