I treated my closet as a bathroom, it's where I stored my pee jugs. When they filled up I'd empty them out the window. The grass below actually died off because of it. I also had a poo bucket in the closet. I lined it with trash bags and covered poo / soiled toilet paper with cat litter. Just a regular 5 gallon plastic bucket, with the lid on it didn't really smell. Every month or two I'd triple bag and put the poobag outside my door with the rest of my trash as usual.
