My doctor prescribed it to me (if I'm remembering the name right) to help me with my depression. Done just shy of fuck all for me
I take it for anxiety (prescribed) and it does wonders

i've taken it on and off for years. first time, i was 10.
apart from making it marginally more difficult to get an erection, it doesn't do anything
I'm on it, and it works wonders!

Anyone here ever been prescribed mirtazapine before? It's the third anti-depressant my doctors tried with me and it actually seems to be working
I take it too. But I get those terrible stomach pains sometimes. Explosive diahrrea sort of thing. Other than that it is just fine.
antidepressants are only marginally more effective than placebo which can be explained due to publishing bias (non significant trials aren't published. drug companies can perform as many trials as they like, until one result shows 'clinical significance' - a badly defined and arbitrary term, most often meaning a 3 point difference on a scale where you must start at least at 25. so some people will be 33 and go to thirty, some will be 27 and go to 24, some will be 39 and go to 36)
they're scams.
