I work in psychiatric ward currently and I can't understand how every single one of the fuckers in that place is in a relationship. And I mean a current relationship.
I was really into Warhammer 40k in Sixth Form and the year after. Didn't buy much but could make a decent 1000 point army and would play at my local Games Workshop, got pretty good at painting them too. My mums friends kids that were the same age acted like it was the most cringy thing. Wouldn't even bring it up, they just saw it on my desk.
Can't fucking stand the same kind of people posting about how nerdy they are on Facebook, but when someone does something tat they genuinely enjoy, it's looked down on.
Stopped doing it because they told me it was weird. Tried to get back into it recently but the people at my shop take it way too seriously. I don't have anyone to play with but I still sometimes touch up the paint on my older models.
