Anon what I've discovered is that loneliness is not quite as bad a thing as it seems. When you have no friends you have more time to pursue things that interest you instead. Same with women, they are not worth the trouble. I'll wait for a nice girl to come around but I won't go seeking one out.

Also you could get a job somewhere far away, fresh start, make friends with the excuse of having just moved to a new city
