I have the same exact kind of hair. tip: use a curl defining cream. It doesn't completely fix the problem but it makes it look more like hair and less like a ball of fuzz

Basically what it does is weigh the hair down so that it looks more similar to how it is when your hair is wet/help "clump/define" curls together. It's not a perfect fix but nothing really is. I'm growing my hair out for a year and and it's only just now starting to not look absolutely poofy and ridiculous so GL anon

curly hair does that when you try to use products meant for straight hair on it. you can google a million websites for curly hair but the basics are stop shampooing with whatever you're using and switch to sulfate free shampoo and use a leave in conditioner.
