I've had spooky happenings at my family's cabin before. Depends on how your lighting is set up but if you can turn on only outdoor/deck lights around your house, then turn off all the interior lights so it's all shadows inside. The lights on outside will cause reflection/glare on the widows so it's difficult for anyone to see in, while you can see all of the lit up areas outside. Be safe.
