dmt was underwhelming. I prefer acid.

After feeling every atom in my body vibrate my skull swelled to large enough to fit the entire universe within it. I then simultaneously experienced the infinite and a singularity as all matter/energy/consciousness became the same thing.

The one major positive about psychedelic drugs is having a chance to examine yourself / life / whatever from an altered perspective.

And to be even more precise, my own benefit came from examining my own life without all the mental barriers and coping mechanisms and denial I had built up over the years.

This is why the first few trips people have are usually the most profound. I still enjoy the drugs but the insights are already a part of me. If you live is a state of total honesty with yourself a dose of shrooms will feel like a melty goofy time where your mind wanders, not a profound insight session.

And when it comes to the spiritual side of drugs, that's a personal thing... that you've made up in your own mind and is not real. If anyone tells you that you'll find God or that they see spirits or WHATEVER on a psych drug, they're lying to you --- they are low IQ and cannot process whatever their minds came up with.

Give a zen monk some LSD and he will not even respond. Give a high anxiety robot LSD and he will either cease to be a robot or have the worst hellride nightmare trip.
